What if-Through Despair n Hope

This is my piece for the What if? Competition on

I called this piece Through Despair & Hope, I got the idea from the song The Circle Of Life.

My theory is WHAT IF: Kiara and Kovu never came back? what if they "ran away together & start a pride all their own", I always thought that if Kovu and Kiara never returned that Zira and the outlanders, would have carried on battling to the death.

Here is a little story on what happened when they didn't return.

Zira finally killed her nemesis Simba, although it was not long till she was to join him. Nala pounced at Zira sacrificing herself to kill her as they both tumbled of the cliff edge, plunging to their watery grave. The lionesses stared down at the raving river to see if there were any survivors, but there were none.
Covered in battle scars the lionesses looked around at each other, they had no idea what to do, there were no leader’s, no males, no royal blood line, in despair they carried on in battle when Vitiani bellowed a great RAOR!!

The lionesses stunned, came to a hult,

Vitani: This war is OVER, why should we carry on spilling the blood of each other when we are all innocent, my mother’s crazed obsession and Simba’s unforgiving heart no longer rule us.

Jaw’s dropped...

Vitani: I suggest we all return to pride rock and live as one pride and I will be happy to lead you if you wish to accept me?

All the lionesses looked around at each other, without teeth bearing or snarling and saw the light in Vitani’s word’s, suddenly a load yell and bellow came from the distance, there stood Rafiki, the lionesses began to roar in acceptance of the young lioness, the wise monkey shook his stick vigorously at pride rock, Vitani bowed her head at Rafiki and leaded her pride to their home and took her place at the top of pride rock.

I believe Vitani could bring a peace to both pride’s mainly because I just love Vitani she got them "through despair & hope"
