A New Start, A New Journey, A New Friend!

Story Time

As Quidel joined the others to venture through the clouds He spotted a happy little yellow creature beside him, "Well hi there!" the small creature spoke as she introduced herself "My names Ellie what's yours? fellow adventure" Quidel smiled glad to have met a friend so early on "Quidel he said with a smile as he placed his gooey leg out to great her" Ellie without hesitation shook his leg "nice to meet you!" Quidel smiled, she didn't care for his strange looks she was nice like the others. It was finally time to head on through the clouds, every one turned to wave good bye for the last time.

Quidel couldn't help but nosily look back to see which group the Ellie had came from, he had never seen her around before. As Quidel Looked back he saw that Reginald, Nawm and the others were standing next to Askarn and the others and saw that they where all waving at him and the Ellie "bye" they called to them, Quidel smiled and looked down at Ellie his new friend, not surprised that she had came from the same very group they he was friends with. "Bye!" They called back and with that Quidel ventured through the mist with his new friend Ellie at his side.

As they arrived in the new region they found a strange and quaint little green hut. Then the strange creature came walking out of it, they gasped they hooded figure quickly scurried off into a field of tall tangled grass. As the creatures peered into the hut they saw that all so familiar glow of genstones! There, in the middle of the hut, lay a small pile of genstones. The creatures investigated inside the hut, the walls of the hut had strange markings on that also seemed familiar to them.

The creatures new they had to get going and find more creatures. As usual they creatures all ventured off in search for genstones. Quidel started to plod along looking at the ground, everything had happened so fast he hadn't thought of his friends back at Mt. Goat until now which then mad him feel guilty even knowing his friends wouldn't have minded, he still couldn't shake the feeling, Quidel plopped his but down and sighed, he then began to look around him, there was large planes of rocks surrounded by grass, which Quidel thought looked rather tasty and he was still so very hungry "I'll just have myself a small munch and then I'll begin my search" he said to himself. As Quidel munched away at the grass he saw out of the corner of his eye a glinting, could it be a genstone? His eye's floated up it is!

There up on the rocky plane sat a green genstone, Why wasn't it glowing he though as he walked closer to examine the stone, he then noticed that beside the genstone sat an amount of medium and large rocks that were quite darker in colour to the rock plane. All of a sudden the rocks began to shake and jiggle, Quidel ran back as quickly as he could, as he turned back he saw that the rocks where coming together, "Why Hello there!" The rocks had formed a large caterpillar like thing atop the formed rocks was a rock with a face, there where to big circular holes that held a small white stone in each one of them forming eyes, between that sat a smaller and darker stone than the rest of the creature that had attached to the larger rock with moss. And he had two small shards of rock with very large tufts of grass that seemed to be growing from them.

Quidel was very shocked by how this creature came together, but it did in some strange way make sense "I mean look at me" he thought "Hi I'm Quidel" he replied, "sorry if I startled you,a umm..." "Oh where are my manners, well Quidel I'm Mr.Crunch! But you can call me Crunch if you like and you didn't startle me at all" Quidel smile, "well Mr.Crunch would you like to meet the others" "There's more! Well I certainly must know more Sir. Quidel you must tell me everything!" and with that Quidel told him all about where he had came from an the quest that they were on.

So here's my new character Mr. Crunch! You can call him Crunch if you like too He was born from a spark of inspiration I had been awaiting after doodling so many rock like creatures. He is based on a caterpillar crossed with the Pringle's Man moustache

I was indeed munching on Pringles at the time. Thank You Pringles! Without you there would have been a floating nose & no mouth hehe!
